Tadweer (Abu Dhabi Waste Management Company) is a leading organization responsible for waste management and circular economy solutions in the UAE.


As part of its transformation journey, Tadweer aimed to evolve beyond traditional waste management into a future-oriented, sustainability-driven entity.


The goal was to position itself as a thought leader in the sector, leveraging technology, innovation, and community engagement to drive the circular economy forward.


As a vital contributor to the circular economy, waste is the key to a sustainable future. Agility and resourcefulness will turn today’s insight into tomorrow’s value; paving the way for future generations. 

Challenge

New Tadweer unlocks value from waste-creating a vital cycle where un-utilized resources are re-purposed to generate sustainable value.


As a circular solutions enabler, Tadweer are setting new standards in waste management, empowering society to Embrace waste as a catalyst for positive environmental outcomes and economic impact-whilst recognizing people as their greatest resource of all.


Tadweer was traditionally seen as a waste management entity rather than an innovative circular economy enabler. The challenge was to shift public and industry perception toward its new role as a sustainability pioneer.


Tadweer also lacked one voice across digital and physical touch points to engage stakeholders, including businesses, communities, and policymakers.


Partnerships and joint ventures are a vital part of their business, however these are not really broadcasted. This is a global challenge, which cannot be taken on alone.


Tadweer needed a modernized brand identity and better marketing and digital solutions to create engagement. Not just branding but how do Tadweer redefine their strategy to engage with the public using clever storytelling.

Our Process

Omnia needed to look into the experience of the brand’s audience. We conducted market research, stakeholder interviews, and competitor analysis to identify global best practices in sustainability and circular economies.


Omnia developed a new brand positioning framework centered around “Generating Vital Value”, reinforcing Tadweer’s role in unlocking waste as an economic and environmental resource.


We also designed customer experience journeys to redefine interactions with businesses, parters, and regulatory bodies to enable partnerships, collaboration and opportunities.

Our Solution

Omnia prototyped the website experience, including web and mobile interfaces, engagement platforms, and smart waste initiatives to enhance user experience and brand perception.


We also developed:


  • an easy-to-use CMS solution for Tadweer, enabling them to better showcase their innovations and thought leadership within the sector to highlight their unique proposition and expertise.

  • an interactive knowledge-sharing hub to educate on both a local level within Abu Dhabi and a Global level for future opportunities with fostering thought leadership in the waste management sector.

Omnia supported Tadweer in understanding how the solution will work across digital touch-points from our core website to social media, and marketing emailers.

The Result / Deliverable

Omnia developed a user-friendly digital ecosystem, starting from Tadweer’s core touch point with the user. The website was designed to be mobile first, easy-to-use, and accessible to all.


The new digital and brand experiences reinforced its mission to reshape waste into opportunity, engaging stakeholders at every level. By integrating technology, education, and community-driven initiatives, Tadweer now stands at the forefront of sustainability innovation, paving the way for a waste-free future.
